I purchased this hair dryer about 2 weeks ago after having a hard time with the switches on my fairly new Conair dryer. I guess you really do get what you pay for. I LOVE this hair dryer! Not only are the switches very easy to turn off and on, or warm to hot--there are 2 features that sold me. First,the motor is very quiet. No more high-pitched LOUD whine. I usually use it on low, but even the pitch is not so deafening- it's not screaming in your ear. It also has a great built in stand so you don't have to lay it completely down on the counter. With it in this position, I use it to warm my eyelash curler to curl my eyelashes! And because I bought it to dry my hair--it does a fast job of that. I have four other hair dryers lounging around in the drawer now, but the one I will ALWAYS use is my new Babyliss!!!
Great dryer for the money
We ordered this Babyliss to replace a Farouk CHI dryer that died after 18 months. What a find! Right out the box, it performed better, and was half the price!
It's an ionic dryer, so your hair looks more finished, and less frizzy. My husband likes the option for cool, warm or hot temperatures, as he hates super hot dryers. I've got long hair, and it's much faster than the CHI.
While not as light as the little cheap dryers, it really isn't annoyingly heavy. In short, a great step-up dryer for those who want a salon-style dryer, but not the price.
Love this dryer!
I had tried the more expensive T3 dryer, which is totally overpriced. This is more than half the price of that dryer and performs way better. This drys my hair very quickly and I love the way it sits on the counter. You won't be disappointed in this purchase.
